A Message to Our Guests
About Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The comfort, safety and enjoyment of our guests and team members are always our highest priority. Like so many of you, we continue to monitor the volume of COVID-19 news coming out which continues to evolve on a daily basis. The Nottawasaga Resort has closed its recreation centre, arena, bar and restaurants.

If you are recently returning home from vacation, Canada's top public health officer has stated that Canadians returning to Canada should immediately go into self-isolation for 14 days rather than simply self-monitoring. If you feel sick or you are the least bit uncertain, please remain at home and contact your doctor or public health unit and do as recommended.

As you undoubtedly have read, it is important for all of us to observe hygienic etiquette to prevent illnesses. Here are some examples:

  • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water whenever possible or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers after visiting public places until you can wash your hands;
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing and throw away tissues after use. Avoid touching your face, specifically your eyes, nose and mouth;
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces in your home;
  • Stay away from large public gatherings;
  • If you are ill stay home from work or social gatherings;
  • Pay close attention to travel advisories.

We will closely monitor official updates for additional guidance and recommendations. As members of our community, we share the same concerns as you and your families.

We are grateful for your continued understanding and patience. We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as possible. Our team is the heart of our business and we care, please contact us should you have any concerns.

Respectfully,

The Nottawasaga Family
