LOCAL CHARITY EVENT
RAISES $324,000.00 IN ONE DAY!

Reaching Goals, Touching Lives!

It was an incredible day! The Nottawasaga Foundation's 27th Annual Golf Tournament, Dinner & Auction Fundraiser raised over $324,000.00 net during the one-day event which took place on Friday, July 19, 2019. To view pictures from the day's events, please visit our Flickr Album.

This brings the total amount raised in the history of the event to more than $6.3 Million Dollars.

The funds raised this year will used towards the Foundation's 10-year funding commitment to the hospital as well as, supporting many other vital local charities and programs. In 2017, in honour of our 25th anniversary, we pledged $1,000,000 towards Stevenson Memorial Hospital's "Transforming Stevenson" Campaign and SHINE (Shared Health Information Network Exchange): One Patient, One Record.

This year's event included:

  • 420 Golfers (in both the Ladies Tournament and Open Tournament)
  • Over 600 Guests Attended the Dinner
  • Over 100 Live and Silent Auction items
  • 200 Hole Sponsors
  • Over 100 Volunteers
  • 8 Hole in One Prizes

"Once again, we are humbled by the generosity and support from our sponsors, participants and volunteers" said one of the tournament organizers and board member, Paul Wratten. "It is an amazing feeling to know that so many people in the community support The Nottawasaga Foundation and our ongoing initiatives." Click to view a list of our sponsors and donations.

The success continued into the evening with a spectacular buffet dinner for over 600 guests where more than 100 live and silent auction items were offered, tournament and special hole winners were announced and wrapping up the evening, a raffle draw for the first prize which was a $1500.00 travel voucher.

"This extraordinary event wouldn't be at all possible without the generous contributions and support from all the sponsors, participants and of course the more than 100 volunteers. Thank you to everyone involved and the entire community for helping to ensure the continued success of this annual fundraiser event. We look forward to seeing the $324,000 raised at this year's tournament make a positive contribution towards so many worthwhile local charitable groups."
