LOCAL CHARITY EVENT
RAISES $357,000.00 IN ONE DAY!

Reaching Goals, Touching Lives!

It was an incredible day! The Nottawasaga Foundation's 26th Annual Golf Tournament, Dinner & Auction Fundraiser raised over $357,000.00 net during the one day event which took place on Friday, July 20, 2018.

This brings the total amount raised in the history of the event to more than $6 Million Dollars.

The Nottawasaga Foundation has pledged $1 million towards Stevenson Memorial Hospital's "Transforming Stevenson" Campaign and SHINE (Shared Health Information Network Exchange): One Patient, One Record. As well the Foundation will continue to support the local Food Banks, Community Living Association of South Simcoe, and many more vital local charities and programs in Simcoe County.

This year's event included:

  • 450 Golfers (in both the Ladies 9-Hole Tournament and 45-Hole Open Tournament)
  • Over 600 Guests Attended the Dinner
  • Over 100 Live and Silent Auction items
  • 200 Hole Sponsors
  • 8 Hole in One Prizes (with chances to win a car, motorcycle, golf cart or $15,000 cash)

"Once again, we are humbled by the generosity and support from our sponsors, participants and volunteers" said one of the tournament organizers and board member, Paul Wratten. "It is an amazing feeling to know that so many people in the community support The Nottawasaga Foundation and our ongoing initiatives." Click to view a list of our sponsors and donations.

The success continued into the evening with a spectacular buffet dinner for over 600 guests. More than 100 live and silent auction items offered a wide variety of products to bid on, tournament and special hole winners were announced.

This extraordinary event wouldn't be at all possible without the generous contributions and support from all the sponsors, participants and of course the more than 100 volunteers. Thank you to everyone involved and the entire community for helping to ensure the continued success of this annual fundraiser event. We look forward to seeing the $357,000 raised at this year's tournament make a positive contribution towards so many worthwhile charitable groups in Simcoe County.
