This year the Nottawasaga Foundation Golf Tournament is going PINK! In support of the It’s Crystal Clear Digital
Mammography Campaign we’re asking that our lady golfers dress in pink to show their support.

The purpose of the It’s Crystal Clear Digital Mammography Campaign is to raise $1.3 million to fund new digital mammography equipment for Stevenson Memorial Hospital. The Nottawasaga Foundation has pledged up to $100,000 towards the purchase of this equipment.

According to the Canadian Cancer Society one in nine women will develop breast cancer and one in 28 will die from it. Early detection is the best protection. Digital mammography has proven benefits over the current technology including increased sensitivity in detection for individuals with denser breast tissue, less radiation during the procedure, and faster analysis through electronically shared images to health care providers.

Please wear your pink hats, shirts, ribbons, or whatever you please, our volunteers will also be outfitted in pink shirts for the Golf Tournament!
