Guest Rooms

Most of our standard guest rooms have two double beds. We also have deluxe guest rooms with two doubles and a guaranteed river view, deluxe guest rooms with two queens, and deluxe suites with king-size bed, Jacuzzi and gas fireplace. All rooms come equipped with a cable Television with in-room pay movies/video games. Cots can only be accommodated in standard rooms with two doubles (one per room) and are available for an additional $10. charge per stay (availability is limited, advance booking required). Cribs can be accommodated in any room and the $10. charge applies. All bedrooms, lobbies, meeting/banquet rooms and food & beverage outlets are non-smoking.

Dining

The Riverview Dining Room offers a select dinner menu and a spectacular view. For guests staying on the Great Escape package, our Master Chef has created a special Table d'hôte menu for your dining pleasure featuring four delicious entrée selections. Dinner reservations are highly recommended. During Christmas Break, March Break and select holidays, dinner may be from a Buffet only, in the Riverview or Crystal Ballroom.

The Mahogany Dining Room provides a more intimate and elegant atmosphere. A gourmet selection of food and wine awaits you with temptations from our Master Chef's à la carte creations. For a moderate upgrade charge, guests staying on the Great Escape package may dine in the Mahogany Room and enjoy an enhanced menu featuring your choice of appetizer, soup or salad, main entrée and deluxe dessert trolley. Reservations are required. A dress code is in effect, shorts and sleeveless shirts are not appropriate. The Mahogany Room is closed on Sundays.

Buffet Breakfast is served in the Riverview Dining Room from 7 am to 10 am. Late risers have the option of visiting the Inn Café and ordering from a select breakfast menu until 11 am. On Sundays, our famous Sunday Brunch is served in the Riverview from 10 am to 1:30 pm (package breakfast vouchers can be used as a partial credit towards brunch).

Lunch is also available in the Riverview Dining Room, where a buffet is served from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm Monday to Saturday. The Inn Café offers items from a menu from 11:30 am onward. During the summer months, the Putter's Green and Ridge outlets , provide barbecue items and cold beverages daily.

Please note that during certain times of the year, and based on occupancy levels, some of the dining rooms may or may not be open and some meal options may not be offered. Buffets may be substituted for menu items or menus may be offered instead of buffets.

Children

Children 16 and under sleep free and meals are available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Children 3 and under eat free from a select menu. Children 4 to 12 years are offered the breakfast buffet for $6.95 and a select children's menu for lunch and dinner is $6.95 (including a drink and dessert). During busy periods, a Children's Dinner Buffet will be available for $9.95. Babysitting may be arranged, based on availability, by contacting reservations. Please provide at least 48 hours notice in order for us to make arrangements. All babysitters are fully-trained through a school-sponsored babysitting course, or are mature adults. Please inquire for rates and restrictions.

Smoking

All public areas, dining areas, lounges, bedrooms, meeting rooms and banquet halls are non-smoking. This reflects recent changes to local by-laws.

Sports & LeisureDome

This 70,000 sq. ft recreation Mecca offers the most indoor recreation of any other Ontario resort! Here you'll find complimentary use of an aquatic centre with 25 metre tropical pool, 100 foot water slide, whirlpool, sauna, squash, racquetball, and a professionally organized and Accredited health & fitness centre with all the latest cardiovascular and weight equipment. Other facilities include: Jungle Question 18-hole theme miniature golf course, games room (with billiards and video arcade games), 3 regulation indoor tennis courts, aerobics & aquafit classes, Nic Nac Child's Centre, full-service hair salon, registered massage therapist, physiotherapist and skin care & beauty centre--all of which operate on a pay-as-you-use basis. Some amenities are based on availability and may require advance booking. Recreation facilities are for the use of registered hotel guests and club members only. Please do not walk through hotel lobbies with swim-wear or bare feet.

Age and ability restrictions apply to swimming pools, waterslide, sauna, whirlpool, and gym. The Pool has a maximum bather load restriction and there might be delays gaining access to the pool at certain times.

Hours of Operation

Hours of operation may be subject to change without notice and vary during long weekends, summer vacations, winter holidays and march break.

Kid's Camp and more!

Our children's programs are professionally organized and supervised to provide fun-filled activities for children aged 6 to 12. Activities such as: co-operative games, arts & crafts, pool time with water slide, face painting, nature walks and more will keep children happy and busy during your stay. The program is available Summer Vacation, Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas Break, New Years, March Break and Easter. Please inquire regarding rates, availability, restrictions and other details.

Nic Nac Children's Centre

This service is available to children aged 1½ to 8 years. Bookings must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival and cancellations must be received 24 hours in advance or cancellation charges will apply. Subject to availability. Certain restrictions apply.

In the Evenings

The Starlite Lounge provides a comfortable hideaway where you can watch your favourite sporting event or enjoy some conversation and a nightcap. Open Monday to Saturday from 3 pm to 12 am and Sunday from 4 pm to 11 pm. The Starlite Lounge is non-smoking.

45 Holes of Spectacular Golf

The Nottawasaga Inn is the only resort in Ontario surrounded by 45 challenging, regulation holes of golf, including a 27 hole and 18 hole course. The 27-hole Nottawasaga Course is comprised of the Green Briar Nine (3074 yards, par 35), the Valley Nine (3019 yards, par 35), and the Briar Hill Nine (3153 yards, par 35). Each course presents a different challenge and features strategically placed bunkers, manicured greens, and tight tree-lined fairways. Perhaps the greatest challenge is the ever-present Nottawasaga River which winds its way throughout much of the course. At 6,625 yards, the par 71 Ridge course is designed to be playable by all, yet is capable of challenging the skills of the most advanced golfer. Scenic hillsides, elevation changes and tree-lined fairways offer an exciting golfing adventure. Power carts are mandatory on the Ridge Course.

Add to that, two driving ranges, putting green and two complete Golf Shops with an extensive line of men's and ladies' golf equipment, clothing and accessories. Advance tee times are required. Please contact the Golf Shop to book tee times, check golf rates, regulations and to arrange for lessons.
