Full-Time Positions
Food & Beverage Line Cook
Description: Prepare & cook food for a la carte and/or buffet service.
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week. Shifts can vary but will include weekends and holidays.
Requirements: Candidates must have completed a recognized culinary program at a secondary college or have equivalent experience.

Server - Dining Room Days
Location: Day Dining Room
Description: To provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service to guests. The dining room is buffet service and you will be required to serve beverages, clear and reset tables, and ring in and present guest checks.
Hours: Approximately 30-40 hours per week. Shifts are days from 6:00am - 3:30pm. and include weekends and holidays.
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills are required to interact with guests. Previous experience is required. Familiarity with SilverWare Point of Sale software would be an asset. Smart Serve Certificate is required within the first two months of employment.

 
Rooms Division Banquet/Convention Porter
Description: To set-up meeting and banquet rooms, including audio visual equipment.
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week, including days, evenings and weekends.
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills are required to interact with guests. Candidates must be in excellent health for this physically demanding job. If you are mature, responsible and reliable, please forward your details as soon as possible.
Meeting Room Attendant
Description: To prepare and maintain set-ups and cleanliness of meeting rooms. This includes table linen, glasses, pens, paper and water jugs. Also includes public washrooms and lobbies. Other housekeeping duties may be included.
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week from approximately 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, including weekends. Some start times may be 6:00am or 8:00am.
Requirements: The successful candidate should have excellent customer service skills in order to interact with guests. Previous cleaning experience is and asset but not required as full training is provided

Evening Housekeeper
Description: To prepare and maintain set-ups and cleanliness of meeting rooms on a daily basis. This includes table linen, glasses, pens, paper and water jugs. Other housekeeping duties may be included.
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (or later), including weekends.
Requirements: The successful candidate should have excellent customer service skills in order to interact with guests. Previous cleaning experience is and asset but not required as full training is provided

Room Attendant
Description: To prepare and maintain the guest bedrooms on a daily basis ensuring they are clean and tidy. (Strip linen, make the beds, empty and clean all garbage cans, dust all furniture, clean bathroom-tubs, sinks, mirror, taps and toilet, sweep and wash floors, vacuum carpets). Also special duties as assigned by supervisor.
Hours: Full-time including weekends. Every 3rd weekend off after initial two months. Start time 9:00am - 4:00/4:30pm on weekdays and 9:00am - 5:00/5:30pm on weekends.
Requirements: Previous experience is not necessary as full training is provided. Excellent customer service skills are required to interact with guests.

Sports Desk Assistant Supervisor
Description:- To assist the sports desk supervisor oversee and co-ordinate all sports desk operations.  This includes scheduling, training and supervision of all sports desk staff.  In addition, you are responsible for various membership duties.  In the absence of senior management, you will be responsible for all aspects of the facility’s operations, ensuring consistent implementation of policies and procedures and a safe, clean environment.
Hours:- Approx. 40 hours per week. This includes working days, evenings, weekends and holidays on variable shifts.
Requirements:- Essential - Post secondary education in related field or 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity, or one years experience at front desk or sports desk with proven track record. Desirable – Travel or tourism diploma or recreation graduate.  Current CPR/First aid certificate.

Food & Beverage Server - Dining Room Days
Location: Day Dining Room
Description: To exceed guest's expectations by delivering professional and efficient food and beverage service. As the Dining Room is a buffet services, you will be required to serve beverages and clear and reset tables.
Hours: Approximately 6-18 hours per week. Shifts are 6:00am to 3:30pm Saturdays and Sundays..
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills are required to interact with guests. Previous experience is required. Familiarity with SilverWare Point of Sale software would be an asset. Smart Serve Certificate is required within the first two months of employment.

Hours: No set hours. You are employed on an on-call basis. Part-time positions available now with full-time hours available at peak times.

Bartender - Banquets
Description: To provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service to banquet guests during banquet/catering functions ensuring the guest's satisfaction.
Hours: As you may be required for breakfast, lunch or dinner functions, your hours will vary week to week according to the schedule. Weekends and holidays are very busy.
Requirements: Experience in food service an asset. Excellent customer service skills are required to interact with guests. Previous bartending and Smart Serve certificate is required.
Host/Hostess/Cashier - Dining Room Nights
Description: To greet and seat guests in an efficient and professional manner. To prepare and process payment of bills.
Hours: Approximately 8 - 24 hours per week, evenings and weekends.
Requirements: Excellent guest relation skills. Basic computer skills with the ability to balance a cash float are essential Previous experience preferred.
Server/Bartender - Banquets

Front Desk Clerk
Description: To be responsible for all front office-related functions in an efficient and professional manner, while maintaining a high standard of service and hospitality. This position could involve working the hotel switchboard and, on occasion, in reservations.
Hours : Approximately hours per week would be 16-32. Typical shifts could be days or evenings at any time during the week or on weekends, so you must be flexible regarding hours of work.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years relevant experience required and you must be computer literate. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with Royal Suite hotel software.

Sports & Recreation

Registered Massage Therapist
Description: We are searching for RMT’s who are reliable, energetic and customer focused.
Hours: Permanent part-time positions are available with excellent commission rates.
Requirements: Candidates must be registered and posses a degree from a Recognized Provincial Association.

AquaFit Instructor (certified)
Description: To teach AquaFit classes on an on call basis.
Hours: 8:15am and 9:15 am Monday to Friday.
Requirements: Candidates must be Certified Fitness to teach AquaFit.
Lifeguard
Description: To effectively guard and maintain the aquatic facility.
Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours per week including evenings and weekends. Additional hours available during holiday periods (eg. March Break, Christmas) and busy summer months.
Requirements: You must have a current NLS certificate, current CPR/First aid and excellent customer service and guest relation skills.
Lifeguard/Instructor
Description: To effectively guard and maintain the aquatic facility and teach swimming lessons.
Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours per week including evenings and weekends. Additional hours available during holiday periods (eg. March Break, Christmas) and busy summer months.
Requirements: You must have a current NLS certificate, current CPR/First aid and excellent customer service and guest relation skills.

Arena Facility Operations Technician
Location: Arena
Description: Responsible for all aspects of facility building maintenance and Zamboni operation including meticulous ice maintenance, flooding, refrigeration plant operation, building maintenance, janitorial duties.
Hours: Approximately 8-24 hours per week. You will be required to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
Requirements: At least 4 years experience on ice maintenance. Hands-on understanding of Zamboni operation, maintenance and repair. A good understanding of H.V.A.C. operation and maintenance. All-round knowledge of mechanical equipment and facility maintenance. Must be able to deliver exceptional customer service. Current CPR/FIrst Aid required.

Arena Attendant
Location: Arena
Description: Under the direction of the Arena Facilities Manager and/or the Facility Operation Technicians, as a part time student you will perform cleaning tasks, assist the Operators with arena tasks such as moving nets and ice maintenance; provide customer service and assist with special events.
Hours: Hours vary and will include weekends and evenings.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have 1 - 2 years cleaning or customer service experience. Preference will be given to those applicants who have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be flexible with respect to hours of work and able to work with minimal supervision.
