COVID-19 UpdatesAs we continue to follow the recommended Government and Simcoe-Muskoka Public Health guidelines to keep our guests and our employees safe, we ask that you please remain patient should services and activities take slightly longer than expected, are at reduced capacities or are unavailable. We are working hard to provide you the best possible experience and value, while adjusting to these changing guidelines. Effective March 21, 2022, masks are not required at the Nottawasaga Resort - with the exception of massage patrons. Though masks will not be mandatory as of this date, they will still be encouraged for both guests and employees and highly recommended for those who are immunocompromised, at high risk, or who choose to continue to wear them. Proof of vaccination is no longer required at the Nottawasaga Resort. Below you will find additional important information regarding operations during your stay at the Resort. Ice times can be scheduled by calling 705-434-5331 or by email. Please note advanced payments by credit or debit only and presigned player agreements are required. No cash will be accepted at this time. Guidelines may be updated as required to revise practices as needed.

In our continued effort to provide a healthy, clean and comfortable stay, we have elevated our already thorough standards and have implemented additional procedures you can expect to see during your stay.

These new practices take into consideration recommended guidelines of our local and provincial health units and affiliated restaurant and hotel associations which allow our team to provide exceptional service in a safe environment. Protocols and guidelines will evolve and as such so may our policies and procedures.
Pre-arrival communication will be sent to each guest with a room reservation, which includes a request to self identify Covid-19 exposure with completion of questionnaire. If any identifiable risk, we ask that you postpone your travel plans until the risk period has passed. This assists in ensuring the wellbeing of all guests and associates.
Guests will also receive pre-arrival registration information to complete in advance of arrival to minimize contact upon arrival / check-in.
All common public areas and high touch areas are cleaned and disinfected frequently with Health Canada approved products that are effective in preventing the transmission of COVID-19.
Hand sanitizer stations are located in key areas throughout the hotel.
Signage and distancing reminders will be used where appropriate in high traffic areas to encourage and observe social distancing and promote traffic flow where practical.
Enhanced cleaning and disinfection of guestrooms has been implemented with our housekeeping attendants using protective gloves and masks. Use of disinfectant wipes for all high-touch items, disinfectant cleaners and spray sanitizer for each guest room prior to your arrival. Increased cleaning of HVAC systems and air filters.
Removal of high touch items: iron, ironing boards, coffee maker, pens & stationary, binders and print material, etc. Items are available upon request and disinfected between each use.
Extra towels, blankets and pillows are available upon request. Daily housekeeping and turndown service have been discontinued with the exception of long term stays. In order to limit contact, guests may request service by contacting the front desk. Any guest room service will be completed without the guest present.
Guest rooms are allocated to allow for appropriate social distancing. A resting period after enhanced cleaning has been established between guests stays.Payment can be made by credit only. Cash will not be accepted at this time.
